Alaskan Brown Bear
I painted the background using acrylic paints. The scene reminds me of a time when my husband and I were fishing for salmon in Alaska and encountered a brown bear fishing for salmon too! I sculptured the bear from a piece of bear hide. I used two different pieces of elk hide to make the grass thick enough for the bear to walk through. I then placed the artwork in a 16"x 20" deep shadowbox frame, covered with glass for protection.
