Arctic Walker
The musk ox was created entirely from pieces of a musk ox pelt. I used different parts of the pelt, depending on the colors I wanted. The ice under the musk ox is a piece of Dall sheep pelt. I painted the background to depict the harsh environment where the musk ox live. The artwork is preserved in a deep shadowbox frame, covered with glass for protection.
